Stacy is a National Board Certified educator and respected Executive Function specialist. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison with a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Psychology), and received her Master’s of Education Degree from John Carroll University, in Ohio.
A sought-after educator, Stacy’s vast and eclectic knowledge was honed at three of the nation’s most prestigious pre-K-12 private preparatory educational institutions: The Browning School (all-male), Manhattan, New York; her alma mater, Hathaway Brown (all female), Shaker Heights, Ohio; and The Packer Collegiate Institute (co-educational), Brooklyn Heights, New York. In addition to her classroom proficiency, Stacy has served as a highly effective and motivational tutor for elementary, middle, and high school students.
Well versed with rigorous school curriculum, Stacy has seamlessly parlayed her classroom skills to successful private practice environments. Stacy was most recently with Boost, Child and Family Services, in Westport, CT. Her role as Director of Education was to provide clients with executive function coaching, tutoring, and educational support. She coordinated a personalized educational program for each student by meeting as a team with psychologists, learning specialists and teachers.
Stacy created Ironhill Educators in 2017 to further assist clients with executive function skills. She provides a practical and nurturing approach to managing disorganized children and adults. Stacy’s mission is to help individuals build the skills needed for long-term, life-long success. She has built her business on three mottos: Out of Sight-Out of Mind, Every Paper Needs a Home, and Breaking it Down. Her system of visual reminders and simplifying paperwork helps clients stay organized. Her system of breaking down projects into smaller steps helps clients manage their time and reduce stress.
Stacy has facilitated numerous workshops on various topics such as: Organizing for Disorganized Kids, Parents of Scattered Kids, and The Organized Divorce.
Stacy lives in Weston, CT with her husband and two children, and one exceedingly large and slobbering English bulldog named Henry.
